Community Agriculture
Growing food, dignity, and opportunity — one garden and one community at a time.
Our Community Agriculture Program is a collaborative initiative that partners with Church parishes and local communities throughout central and eastern Kentucky to tackle food insecurity within their respective regions.
One of the cornerstones of our program is the provision of training and education classes, which empower individuals with the knowledge and skills required to grow sustainable gardens to feed their community.
Beyond just addressing immediate food needs, we go a step further by helping communities explore income-producing opportunities through our social enterprise programs. By combining technical expertise, education, and entrepreneurship, our Community Agriculture Program not only helps combat food insecurity but also empowers individuals and communities to thrive through sustainable agricultural practices.
