Sponsors Needed for Christmas Program

Looking for a family project this Advent? Consider participating in Catholic Charities' Christmas Program. Your support will help make sure a Lexington family has Christmas presents and a nice holiday meal.
The Christmas Sponsorship Program is more than just an Angel Tree. Its a real connection between families. Your family adopts a needy family, referred by a community service agency or family resource center. You commit to purchasing a minimum of two (2) gifts for each child and one (1) gift for parents. In addition, you agree to provide the family with an unprepared holiday meal. Your family arranges to deliver the presents and food, either to the families' home or at neutral location, giving your family an opportunity to meet and greet your sponsored family.
Don't have time to shop? We have shoppers available if you would like to make a financial donation. We expect many families this year as the economy continues to oppress households. Families don't ask for large expensive items. Many parents have requested winter coats, coloring books, dolls and hot wheels.
This may be the only Christmas these families will have and they appreciate all you do for them.
