Honoring Departing Board Members

Jul 2nd, 10
On Thursday, June 10, the Catholic Charities Board of Directors recognized three directors who will end their terms of service. We’d like to publicly thank them for their contributions to our ministries.

John Maher of Pax Christi served as Board Treasurer for the past seven years. During that time he has devoted many hours to the agency by monitoring the agency’s financial status and making monthly reports to the board, overseeing the Reverse Raffle and playing a key role in our many activities and fundraisers. He also served on the Program, Fundraiser and Executive Committees. He was instrumental in so many ways, always willing to share his expertise and lend a hand.

Sandra Muenks attends Christ the King and Pax Christi. She served on the Board for six years, serving as Chair of the Program Committee. As a retired Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Sandra brought a wealth of knowledge to help with Board education and decisions. She was always generous with her time, wisdom and energy to accomplish our agency’s work.

Ann Gish of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton also served six years on the Board. She was a member of the Development Committee and provided many important resources to the agency. Drawing upon her years of experience as a former schoolteacher at LCHS, she spoke about our agency to other groups. She also opened her home for one of our yard sale fundraisers and she offered much of her time and talents to help the agency.

Thank you, dear friends of Catholic Charities. We will miss you!
