Agency Receives Bluegrass CARE grant

The Bluegrass Community Foundation recently awarded Catholic Charities of
the Diocese of Lexington a $5,000 grant through its Bluegrass Collaborative
Assistance and Relief Effort (CARE) fund. This grant will be used for rent
and utility assistance for families who live in Lexington and surrounding
counties, including Bourbon, Clark, Fayette, Jessamine, Madison, Scott, and
Woodford counties. Qualified families would receive up to $100 in CARE fund
monies, which will be matched dollar for dollar by Catholic Charities for a
total of $200 in potential assistance. Individuals interested in assistance
may contact our Bridging the Gap Office assistance line at (859) 253-1993 on
from 9-12 on Tuesday mornings. Eligibility requirements do apply.
