Know Your Rights: Preparation for Encounters with Immigration Enforcement

In response to reports of apprehension by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement in certain cities across the U.S. over the past weekend, a series of Know Your Rights videos have been created to better educate you on dealings with ICE. These videos have been provided in both English and Spanish.

The videos are short reminders of important Know Your Rights points, they are not intended as legal advice. Rather, they are education and awareness materials to help remind people of their rights when encountering ICE and how to engage with ICE officers. We urge all undocumented individuals to seek legal advice from a qualified immigration attorney or accredited representative.

We have linked to the videos HERE on the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops website.

We will continue to work to protect our immigrant and refugee brothers and sisters. We welcome working together to support and lift up immigrant and refugee voices at this time.
