A Caring Connection of Catholic Charities – Diocese of Lexington provides pregnancy counseling and adoption services to persons within the fifty county area served by this diocese. We are a licensed agency by the State of Kentucky. A Caring Connection is a state-wide body of adoption programs designed to serve the state of Kentucky. Our two pregnancy counselors/adoption specialists have a combined thirty years of experience with this program at Catholic Charities. You do not have to be Catholic to work with our agency, but you must meet the eligibility requirements included on the Initial Adoption Questionnaire (go to Adoption Application).
During our counseling process it is sometimes decided by an individual that parenting is not the best option for this pregnancy. Time is spent with each person looking at their situations, their strengths and resources in order to provide them the accurate information they need in order to make the best decision for their child. At times, adoption will be considered and our goal is to have capable, stable, loving families available who are ready to parent a child through adoption.
The adoption professionals through A Caring Connection work with prospective adoptive families who meet our eligibility requirements (go to Adoption Application). Once you have applied and completed the home study process, you will complete an album which will be shown to expecting parents making an adoption plan in situations that meet your criteria.
A Caring Connection assists in building families through infant adoptions.
Services provided include adoption preparation, home study, placement services, and post-placement supervision.
